About the EIC Global Awards

Each year, the Events Industry Council celebrates and honours the exemplary achievements of professionals from  across the business events industry through the EIC Global Awards. 

 

On 7 October, we will come together to share our stories, celebrate the EIC's 75th Anniversary, and recognize our leaders who are modeling the way for our sector offering lasting impact on our industry and our global society.


The 2024 recipients will be honoured and celebrated at the Global Awards Celebration at ARIA Las Vegas on the  evening of 7 October 2024.

Please submit your nominations by 29 May 2024.

The 2024 EIC Global Awards will include: 

Hall of Leaders

Since 1985, the Events Industry Council has distinguished the industry through the Hall of Leaders awards programme in order to promote the value of the industry and the contributions of the leaders working within it.


The Hall of Leaders award is the premier recognition programme in events — our industry's "lifetime achievement award." The award recognises outstanding leaders who have undoubtedly shaped the industry.

Pacesetter Award

Recognizes emerging leaders with a proven track record of successful leadership and whose forward thinking and innovative approach led to groundbreaking changes (or actions) that are making an impact on advancing the industry today.

EIC Social Impact Award

Recognises extraordinary effort on the part of an individual and or organisation (an association, company, destination organisation, think tank, foundation) in the areas of people, planet, and prosperity aligned with UN SDGs and EIC Principles for Recovery. Examples include work related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the global events industry.

EIC Adaptation and Innovation Award

Recognises extraordinary effort on the part of an individual or organisation (an association, company, destination organisation, think tank, foundation) in the areas of adaptation and innovation to ensure our industry’s relevance now and into the future.
