The EIC Social Impact Award recognises extraordinary effort on the part of an individual and or organisation (an association, company, destination organisation, think tank, foundation) in the areas of people, planet, and prosperity aligned with UN SDGs Examples include work related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the global events industry.

Yes! We encourage you to work with others on the nomination. This can help save time and provide diverse perspectives.
Nomination Tips

Review all questions prior to beginning the nomination process.

Work with others to gather data points, achievements, past awards and anything else that will contribute to the narrative.

Gather all relevant information and begin crafting a narrative that best positions your candidate for the award.

Whenever possible, include data points, specific examples or other information that will help the judges understand why your candidate is best suited for the award.Start early and give yourself enough time to complete the nomination without being rushed. We recommend at least two to three weeks before the deadline.

1. How has the individual’s/organisation’s commitment to social impact been realised in the product or service initiative? Please describe the specific impact the individual's/organisation's initiatives have had on society or the community.
2. Please describe how the individual/organization has inspired others to pursue similar social impact initiatives. Please provide specific examples of their influence and the resulting impact.
Influence on the Industry. Help shape our understanding of this nominee’s influence on the industry
1. How has this nominee or organisation made a positive impact through their sphere of influence, business operations, and leadership positions to combine profits with a meaningful purpose for the greater good of our industry and global society?
2. What specific actions has this nominee or organisation undertaken that led to activities, projects, programmes, initiatives or policy that have positively affected the industry and/or community with positive measurable outcomes?
