How to Make a Nomination

Thank you for helping us celebrate and honour exemplary achievements in the global business events industry.

Each year, the Events Industry Council celebrates and honours the exemplary achievements of professionals from across the business events industry through the EIC Global Awards. 


The Nomination process begins with answering a series of questions about the nominee.

​Nomination Tips:​

  • Review all questions prior to beginning the nomination process.

  • Work with others to gather data points, achievements, past awards and anything else that will contribute to the narrative.

  • Collect a bio for the nominee.

  • Gather all relevant information and begin crafting a narrative that best positions your candidate for the award.

  • Whenever possible, include data points, specific examples or other information that will help the judges understand why your candidate is best suited for the award. Start early and give yourself enough time to complete the nomination without being rushed. We recommend at least two to three weeks before the deadline.

  • We recommend compiling your answers in a separate document then cutting and pasting your answers into the online form.

  • For the Hall of Leaders, include letters of recommendation from at least two EIC members.​

Can multiple people work on a nomination?

Yes! We encourage you to work with others on the nomination. This can help save time and provide diverse perspectives.
