
How to Make a Nomination
Thank you for helping us celebrate and honour exemplary achievements in the global business events industry.

Each year, the Events Industry Council celebrates and honours the exemplary achievements of professionals from across the business events industry through the EIC Global Awards.
On 6 October 2025, we will come together in Las Vegas to share our stories, celebrate the business events industry, and recognize our leaders who are modeling the way for our sector.
The Nomination process begins with answering a series of questions about the nominee. Each award will be judged on four weighted categories: Influence on Industry, Leadership, Collaboration and Contributions to Society.

Before starting the application, be sure to carefully review the questions and criteria for the corresponding award category. Gather all relevant information and begin crafting a narrative that best positions your candidate for the award.

Whenever possible, include data points, specific examples or other information that will help the judges understand why your candidate is best suited for the award.

We recommend compiling your answers in a separate document then cutting and pasting your answers into the online form.

We encourage you to work with others on the nomination. This can help save time and provide diverse perspectives.
